In Reply to: Calcium Supplement Question!!!!! posted by azteclizard on May 11, 2003 at 11:33:02:
I was thinking it was probably BS but I wasnt sure and wanted to get others opinions. Theres nothing that bothers me more then people who advertise products as better and safer health wise then other brands of basically the same product without any scientific research and proof! This specific ad and others like it dont have any links or collaborating data to prove that there product is better. Just testimonials. I dont know? I am not saying that their product isnt good. I just am not convinced it is better for my reptile then say rep cal or miner all. I am going to look around the net, see if I can find some more information on calcium usage and forms etc. But for now I feel a little better that someone else doesnt buy the whole advertisment. Also thanks for the info on the d3 levels in rep cal. I have been trying to locate the rep cal calcium with just calcium and no d3 to alternate with the one with d3. I finally found it I believe at herpsupplies.com and just have to order it now. This was a couple weeks ago and I think that was the site. I know the stores around here and lllreptile (where I do quite a bit of online shopping) do not sell it. Thanks again, Lindsay
ps. Everyone else please feel free to respond with your opinions. This is a important subject :) Thanks.
