Ok that makes sense. One more thing..
I live in florida and the room my beardies are in is around 80-85 F. temp on average most of the year (thanks to the AC not working worth a crap in this part of the house). The current spot Im using is a 150W zoomed and its too hot. Ive got it raised a few feet over the cage to keep the basking spot at 105-110. I'm thinking I wouldn't need over a 100W flood but I'd sure hate to purchase the wrong bulb at $50/each.. Could you tell me how your temps are including average room temp?
