Has anybody used Big Apple Herps. Capture The Sun bulbs?

Hi I was thinking of purchasing these bulbs next after my Zoomed and T-rex bulbs didn't come close to the life they advertise on the boxs. As every one knows these mercury vapor lights are not cheap. In your opinion would it be cheaper and just as good if I switched to flourescent Iguana lights/ Repti-sun and used a seperate bulb fixture for heat. would it be worth it in the long run useing them and paying more electric for another fixture? Your comments are helpfull.
