I just don't understand it, no matter what I do he just sits in his bowl for a few secondsthen eventually jumps out our scales my arm in an attempt to get away...

If I keep doing this, leaving him in his bowl till he runs off, will he eventually learn to like the water? Or am I just traumatizing him?
