I'd say if your cat was not a teensy kitten, then it woudl be too big to be a food item for your snake. If the cat was introduced slowly and ALWAYS with supervision, s/he should get used to the snake.

My Prairie Dog and BP would never get along for obvious reasons, so they have never met each other.

:Does anyone know if a full grown python will try to attack a cat? I do have a cat and I am getting a snake soon....My cousin used to have a Bermese python and he said it tried going after his dog. But is that because the snake was 9 feet long and it thought it COULD swallow it? or ? Or is it just instinctive to go after ANYTHING that moves? Even if you kept it well fed, would it still be inclined to go after it? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
