I kno other people may not agree but i got my first ball python at 10 and i think they are the best kid snake you could ever get i cant stress how much i think that is the best snake for your daughter.the whole handling and not eating remark is totaly wrong! as long as they are captive borne you should have no problem getting them to eat my 2 eat like pigs my biggest just went frome mice to rats and had no problem i didnt even have to sent it.i realy think if you get a ball python you will have no regrets in the future.
