doesnt eat frozen mice anymore - help!

for some reason its been getting harder and harder to get my bf to get froze mice/rat. I feed him both froze and live when he was a baby, but mostly froze. now he doesnt even care about it. I know he's hungry since it's been atlease 2 weeks since he ate. this happen couple of times already and I had to go buy live ones just so he wont starve himself to death. any suggestion how i can get him to eat froze again?
