:Guys/Gals I have a question. What would be the best way to properly heat a 10 gallon aquarium for a ball python. Should I use a thermostat. My local petshop says that BP's must have both a heat light and a UTH even in a 10 gallon... Im a lil lost.

I think if you used both sources of heat you would cook him in a 10 gal. I would go with the UTH and have it on all the time. Unless you have a cold room he will be fine. DO get a thermometer and have an accurate idea of temps.
