Regarding my request for good localities for herp-watching in Japan, I would like to emphasise that I will NOT be collecting any animals. Just watching and (hopefully) taking a lot of photos. I will be interested in virtually any kind of reptiles and amphibians - lizards, snakes, turtles, frogs, newts and salamanders! Thanks.
