Feeding during absence

I'm going to be away from home for about a week next month, and I don't want to bother any friends with having to come take care of my frogs everyday while I'm gone. Is there any kind of automated-feeding technique for ff's? I was thinking of maybe putting a small amount of ff culture with alot of larvae and pupae in a jar into the viv. I could punch small holes into the lid so the flies could get out when they hatch and large enough so frogs can't get in. I'd appreciate some thoughts on this if anybody has any and if anyone has a method that's worked for them please share. Thanks
