i ended up purchasing the lid with the same plastic piece in the back. All I plan on doing is just putting more silicone around the edges. Im sure it will hold good. I believe he used an older type of top. Everything changes, but the plastic piece can be made to fit. You will have about an 8th inch gap on each side. Just silicone it up and instead of making the terrarium fron face the door make it face on of the sides and make the side the front of the terrarium.
