The only reason there is no dew-flap displaying, or fighting here (even female will do this in the wild!) is that in such an overcrowded area there is no chance of setting up a real territory, so the anoles are forced to "deal with it." This kind of forced repression of natural dominance relationships can lead to stress.

Also, with that many anoles in a small enclosure, it is almost inevitable that fecal contamination will occur, and at least one, if not all could die of parasitic loads too high for their system to handle.
