HI...(anolis you may know me from PPC)
anyways i have a male and female anole in a ten gallon tank. Their temples are green so i think that they aren't stressed but their bodies are not green.
They were cuaght three years ago in florida.....my root to the brown coloration.
they have mated and have laid fertile eggs. The temp are on the shaded cool side is around 77 degrees but they are rarly on the side. i humidity shows as about 50% but i have a crappy plastic thing so i think its higher than that. They eat medium sized crickets (the ones that dont have wings yet). Most of the plants are live so they bring the humidity up.
They dont spend much time directly under the basking light they tend to stay in a silk tree i have on the hot side of the tank.
I had them in a 55 gallon tank and the temps were above 80 on the cool side but they were still brown with green temples.
so do you think that there is anyway to get them all green?
Also i use a UVB light every other day are so becuase i only have one and i have to let my chameleon use it too.
I am moving my chameleon outside so this summer the anoles will have a uvb light every day witch they had last year also but still no green.
WHAT IS WRONG.....so for such a long post but any help is accepted
