They don't live in water, and they're pretty small (less than a foot). They look a lot like skinks: short legs, little discernable neck, broad head, etc. Google for "elgaria" for a few websites.

:I'm intrigued by these alligator lizards. Could someone give me an address for a detialed care/fact sheet please?

:Do they predominantly live in water and what size do they grow too.
