I believe they are both southern alligator lizards. We caught them both out in the desert (in the barren antelope valley). I believe one is male & one is female, but am not certain. The larger of the two is about a foot long. I can't tell which one laid the eggs, but i believe it was the smaller one. She was laying until saturday (she started on tuesday!), and she had a total of sixteen! I hope the eggs survive, they are looking well. Thank you for your advice, it is much appreciated.
