can bugs harm eggs?

I have a question...
I noticed that there were many tiny white bugs crawling around in the soil and on the eggs I have in the incubator. I also found some nats comming out of the container i have the eggs in, so I am assuming the little white bugs to be "baby" nats. They are crawling on the eggs and I am worried. Have you ever had to deal with this problem? Also, what do you think I should do?
