Alligators and rocks?

Ye si recently bought a c/b baby alligator from a guy i know for 55 dollars now when i got it home it wouldnteat and a week later some pebbles shown up in his water( i do not use rocks) and the he ate every single cricket in their could he had went the bathroom and let them out?
