hi my name is Damon from ohio i have had a fat taield gecko for about 8-9 years he eats manly crickets but to your question ceder bark is good realy fine if posible. reptiel bark from a pet store works to but get him off the carpet it will earitate him change the bark every 4 weeks if you have any other anamals it will atract flees
