African Fat-Tailed Geckos

I have an African Fat-tailed gecko, but can find very little info. about them, that's is specifically about this species and not a leopard gecko. Can anyone help me w/ website or book reccomendations? Also my Gecko is currently on carpeting and I would like to switch it to a more natural bedding-one liek what he'd find out in the wild. Do you have any suggestions? I was thinking of Calci-sand, but someone suggested Bed-A-Beast(which I had never heard of until this point. ANy help would be much appreciated.
