We just got one of the same your talking about. It seems to me that what you have is a yellow throat plated lizard. They reach about 28 inches in length when they're full grown and though they like humidity, they are not fully aquatic lizards. If your looking for more info, or have some info on them, please feel free to email me.

: he is red along the sides, with grey legs, grey tummy, and yellow and black racing stripes along each side of the back.

: he has little yellow specks all over his sides and legs as well.

: he is very charming and friendly and loves to swim. any info would be great.
