i.d. plated lizard

still trying to id our plated lizard........ we have gotten no clues on which species he actually is...

he is red along the sides, with grey legs, grey tummy, and yellow and black racing stripes along each side of the back.

he has little yellow specks all over his sides and legs as well.

he is very charming and friendly and loves to swim. any info would be great.
