field guides in Madgascar

We will soon start an 8 month project in eastern Madagascar, looking at bats primarily. But I like reptiles too and if anyone can recommend good field guides anywhere in Madagascar I'd be grateful, Just a name and contact details will do many thanks, Daniel Bennett, Aberdeen University
