Hi Cilene,
they csn be kept for a while as described there, but on the long run htey need colder nights! Also these people do niot seem to care too much fpr high mornuing humidity and lower daytime humidity and I did not find Info about the basking spot they use. The Pics seem to depict J. splendida (not splendens as stated there), but I am not sure. I add Pics of splendida and polygonata to this post, to help you to decide, what you have. Again: Hot basking spot and comparably dry at daytiome, cool and humid at night. Hibernation is essential for breeding and I would suggest to do it anyway. Most animals which brumate in the wild benefit from a cold eperiod in captivity.
