I appreciate everyone's posts.

If I do ever end up getting a venomous snake, I will probably end up with a copperhead. I do think that they are beautiful. I never realized how small they are. A few people I went on a trip with caught a few and I really liked them.

I had thought that a coral snake would be more interesting, but after the information I have recieved I will most likely stay clear of them.
