: We are interested in selling cottonmouths(wild caught)to individuals or labs.
You aren't going to make big bucks doing this, and it's disruptive of local ecosystems. I give away a good many cottonmouths to qualified institutions, venom labs, educators, etc, when they come in as non relocatable urban rescues to my snake removal service. I give these animals away for free and quite honestly it is often hard to find takers. If I have a hard time giving them away, I don't think you'll have much luck selling them.
There are minimum standards necessary to meet before you can adopt snakes from the service, so please do not post asking to adopt free cottonmouths unless you can demonstrate that your facility (professional or private) has a good track record of giving veterinary care to venomous snakes. If you're an institution or educator with access to venomous veterinary care needing non relocatable rescued cottons, no problem, we'll fill you right up with them.
: Anyone know what regulations there are about milking snakes and selling the venom?
Varies by location. Again you don't make much money this way, and milking is harder than you think - not because it's dangerous to you (though it is), but because it takes an extremely experienced and gentle hand to milk snakes without stressing and injuring them to the point of death.
Most people who want to make a fast buck off of exploiting local wildlife find out pretty quick that it is neither fast nor are there very many bucks involved.

TT
