: Your view of Christianity isn't any different that any other secular mindset, except that you take issue with only a couple key points and then show a very miniscule understanding of the bible and it's purpose.
As far as I can tell from a historical perspective, the main purpose and goals of Christianity have been to overrun and conquer the globe, and force everyone else to join or die. You can talk about a loving god all you want, but he looks pretty scary, vengeful and warlike based on the historical evidence of what his followers have done in his name. If you have a personal relationship with a loving Christian deity, good for you. I don't mind as long as your beliefs don't encourage you to oppress other people or make a mess of the ecosystem.
: >>> You are pis$ed about the way this country was founded, yet you sit there in your dwelling taking advantage of the freedom that is here for us all, and thankless at that.
I should be grateful for the way this land has been trashed? Sorry, but I'd give up the benefits of society in a hot minute if it would buy back the unspoiled land and water. But it won't.
I don't live in a cave, but I do my best to use technology in a positive way that helps the environment instead of taking advantage of it without thinking about the consequences and costs. I am far from perfect, but I try to walk lightly on the earth, and I have made fairly major alterations in my lifestyle to avoid supporting some of the modern institutions that do the most damage, eg, cattle ranching.
: >>> First of all, there is nothing "primitive" about typing all your BS on a PC, and you are far from any "natives" I have befriended in the past.
Technology is not the enemy, and you do not know me well enough to make any judgements about the way I actually live.
: Second, if you were to be representative of a "primitive" who allows others to belive what they want, then you are forgetting your crazy vendetta with the venomoid crowd.
Beliefs and actions are very different things. I would not care if people wanted to worship swords. I would care if they acted out their beliefs by sacrificing young virgins to their swords. Mutilating snakes is not a belief, it is an action that I oppose because it is cruel and selfish.
Let's face it - there are no "beliefs" about venomoids except, "I want a pet cobra but I don't want to bother making the changes to my lifestyle needed to keep one without mutilating it." That is not a belief, that's just selfish laziness.
: >>>> Who are "we"? You and the Native Americans? You and the rest of the Wiccan organization? I'm confused.
What else is new? Besides, Wiccans are highly disorganized. LOL Depends on which "we" you mean. I can't speak for all the Native peoples of the world, but I do identify with them and have personal reason to know why many of them seriously resent the white man and his in-your-face, join-or-die missionary Christianity.
: >>> Can I take a dump in front of the pews in Her cathedral? The bears do it.
Sure. You can have sex there, too. Just pack out your condoms and cigarette butts, please.
