Art Bass is definitely marching to a different drummer than most of us. I have spoken to Art over the past few years on several ocaisions, and find him to be a real character... I'm very glad to be hearing that he is going to pull through. Having been there and done that, I can tell you that Al Cruz is providing a wonderful service, and if ANY of you are keeping venomous without anitivenom, call Al and get a membership application to the Antivenom Bank... for 50$ a year, they promise to provide replacement anitvenin in the event that a member is bitten. This means that if you live in Timbuctoo and you get bit, your local zoo won't have to go without replacement antiserum for their staff in the event that you (a private keeper) get bit... It also means that you won't have to pay 1000$ per ampule for CroFab..... The bank is CHEAP insurance.
God looks after fools and drunks.... He looked after me and apparently Art's guardian angel was with him this week too...
