I Would Would Like to Invite James and Bonnie Arnold of Genesis Reptiles,

Comments:
: to please post their reasons for being present at the Sweetwater Rattlesnake Roundup. : To be fair I had a nice conversation with Bonnie over this very disturbing venture with Sweetwater. I would please ask that comments be kind and factual when posting on this forum, and let Genesis Reptiles tell their side of it. : My viewpoint is this. : What ever happened to positive role models who will not let their integrity be sold for the almighty dollar? : By participating in an event that condones gassing of den sites, inhumane treatment of wildlife, and spreading fears and misinformation about rattlesnakes, the company in question has sold out it's wildlife birthright. : Just because Pilstrom and Whitney were there either directly or by distibutors, Genesis Reptiles wanted to cash in as well. It was their first time. Here's the big picture. : What herpetological association would like to purchase this product now? While I can't speak for the Arizona Herpetological Association, or the Tucson Herpetological Society, I can tell you this much. I believe they won't buy your product either! : Wildlife conservation groups will decline your product. Humane societies will shun it as well. : With that being said, I must boycott Genesis Reptiles products. and extend my hand to Midwest products. They will never sell out to rattlesnake roundups or buy booths there. : The name Genesis is the beginning of life. How ironic that it's sold in an event that slaughters wildlife. If this company will change it's position and get out of roundups, I just might change my view, but it will be awhile before that happens. It takes years to build on trust, it take one mistake to bring it down. Scar tissue anyone? : Dale Burton, Director : RATTLESNAKE AWARENESS PROGRAMS OF ARIZONA : Proverbs 30:18-19 : Preservation through Education : :
