You are absolutely right. Donating hooks does not make their product superior. I can't even compare their products with Furmont's because I don't think I have ever seen a Furmont hook. I just thought that the reaction to MsTT's post was a little strong considering the generous nature of the action described. Midwest is really getting their name out into the public eye and is actively seeking herper inputs. Perhaps this will lead them to develop a hook that is as good as you say Furmont's are. Saying that a certain product "sucks" without any other feedback seldom improves anything. Thanks for the further explanation. I apologize if my response was viewed as being negative towards Furmont's products because, as I said, I don't know their products. In the mean time, it was an excellent gesture on Midwest's part to help out a traditionally underfunded organization. Karl
