Donating hooks does not make their product superier. Midwest has a lot of good stuff and donating hooks is a very nice thing to do but Furmont still makes the better hook. Hands down furmont will have a piece of the pie at least untill midwest can make a hook of the same quality.

equipment to Animal Control Officers? Perhaps Furmont (giving the benefit of the doubt, here) they would if they knew of the need. However, Midwest is becoming quite well known for their positive response to the needs of the herping community. In fact, I don't know of any company that is as responsive to the needs of the herp society as Midwest. If Furmont wants their piece of the commercial pie, they are going to need to step up and fill the need. Just MY 2 cents worth.
