: A store in Waycross, GA buys Eastern Diamondbacks from the locals for $2.00 a foot. Maybe we need to show them what an Eastern Diamondback sells for on Glades Herp's website ? -- about $30 a foot

'Fraid that when the country cousins get done gassing them out of gopher tortoise burrows and picking them up in the air with Pilstrom tongs, the rattlesnakes aren't worth anything to collectors because they're not survivable. Same could be said about the environment after these folks have been through it. A zoo once purchased 200 animals from a roundup, the healthiest looking ones there. 100% mortality rate in 2 months. No thanks, I'll stick to captive bred.

: But the real value of an Eastern Diamondback is when he's out there in his Gopher tortoise burrow, doin' his thing. Nature isn't broke and doesn't need fixing.

No arguments there.
