Whats the best venomous species to start out with?

I have helped someone out with venomous snakes for almost a year and a half now and finally have the confidence to start. What is the best species to start out with? I have heard that the Puff Adder, Gaboon Viper, W. Diamondback or Copperhead are some of the best. What do you think?
