The reason why most of the venomous snakes in the world
are from Australia is because it's the only continent where
the dominant class of snakes are elapids. Elapids, which
include the taipans, cobras, mambas, browns, etc..., are the
most venomous class of snakes. Since elapids are the majority,
this is why you find most of the deadliest snakes in Australia.
