I was not saying that the round ups were a good thing.I was simply saying that if they are going to continue maybe us ethical herpers could set up stands at these round ups and teach the youth what a great importance these animals play in our world. And as for the gasing of these reptiles I already stated that this is completely unethical. Not only does it do harm to the snakes but also the animals that reside in these holes.I am completely for a set limit on the snake hunts and there should some kind of guide lines set for their capture as well. And as for the pits they make them live in(like a certain amount of snakes per pit instead of a thousand per 2x2 foot box)and make these keepers make sure the snakes are fed.I dont know if this one could be possible but limit the snake hunting to the day of or the day before the round ups.
