Gecko from lbj lake?

i live in the texas panhandle some people just moved in down the street from me they came from lbj lake in south texas. in the uhaul i found a funny little lizzard. the only thing i could find in my book that looked symular was a mediterranian gecko.

can u tell me anything about them?

what should i feed it?

im going to keep it cause i dont think it would make it here?
