I definately agree with you about the 4 inch rule, especially for those of us into muds and musks. My adult 3 stripe mud is just barely four inches. They leave you with a bunch of bad choices, buy illegally, take wc, or breed your own (not really a viable choice for most of us). And even I have a turtle that I think there's a good chance he's wild caught and he's doing quite well... I didn't catch him though, and I didn't realize when I bought him... but oh well. I'm not saying the world is gonna collapse, but I just think that we shouldn't feel like nature is a place for us to go take whatever we want from in order to save a buck (not that I'm suggesting that's what she did, but in principle).
