In Reply to: vitamin D3 can come from dietary sources... posted by turtlewizard on December 04, 2000 at 14:56:35:
I live near buffalo ny and it began getting to cold for the turtles in early september(well it might not have been but I was worried).Today I am going to pets plus to get the zoo-med 5.0 . When I called they said it was $35.99 is that a good price?
thanks for all the help

: and Rep-cal has D3 along with calcium carbonate. if the shell is soft, brian, you are on the right track. continue what you are doing. it can take a long time for the bones to firm up again. but you might be dealing with a bacterial infection along with, or instead of, softshell syndrome. is there any discoloration, pus, or pitting in the shell?
