I should have thought more prior to my posting. You were right as far as my area not being the reptile trade. I do however keep several herp species, but would considered my background to be oriented towards science. I think the fact that someone could walk out of there with an elapid really bothered me and made me feel very uncomfortable. Even though I don’t agree with everything the organization does, I like you want the herp community to have a better image than it does currently. I apologize for the harshness of my post, and feel like I acted out of emotion towards our public image as herpers. I dind't enjoy hearing people refering to us as wackos and crazies, and felt that this was a result of the setup of the show. Like I said in my prior posting I have done several things for the society in a silent manner though. If you need my help, just ask. Forget about striking my name from the roster, unless you feel the need to. I am all about people keeping venomous snakes; I just feel that an awful lot of experience is needed prior to this.
