While Indotestudo forsteni are now being found around the US due to recent importations, they actually have a fairly limited range compared to the rather widespread elongata and are relatively scarce in private collections.

As Darrell has said, I. travancorica are well protected in India and (almost) never seen anywhere outside that country.

Also, be aware that if you purchase a wild caught Indotestudo forsteni, that they are almost always a lot of work medically.................
