Absolutely correct - the true travacore (I. travancorica) is very rarely seen in the trade. It is only found in India and India is very good at protecting their herps. As far as I know there are only about 5 true I. travancorica in the United States.

I. travancorica is often confused with I. forsteni because one of the common names for I. forsteni is the Travancore tortoise (dating back to when people thought that forsteni and travancorica were the same species.)
