I has never left them out over night before and was very nervous, but i did watch them and they went right for the house, and they stayed there untill morning ( i was watching like a hawk going out there evey 20 min):) they were SO Happy !! it was amazing. i trenched the walls down and added burried netting, no they cant get stuck in it, and then burried THAT under dirt and 2x4's/ gotta love Fleet Farm.(a local LOWES type store but made for farms and the like ) i planted 4 hibiscus bushes and 2flats of lettuce like stuff ( romain, summertime , raddishino, {sp} etc) and a flat of geranims and some other stuff. they have a huge soaking area and a nice shelter with a flap door and bedding in it. they are such happy little torts! well not little but you know what i mean! i am taking them in during inclament weather but for the most part, they are staying out there. it is the least i can do, i haven had a nice run area for them before and they totally deserve one! the temps here are perfect and a brand new cage area for the winter season is the process of being built as i type. so i am very relieved. i wil post pic if i can figure out how!
thanks again,
theresa
