Hi, my Russian's outdoor pen is partially under a tree. Around this time of year, the tree grows berries (ugly red and purple ones) which fall off all over the place. Well, at the moment, I haven't made a top for this pen (which will be a dome covered in chicken wire) so the berries fall into his pen. Well, today i put him out there so he can graze a little bit, and the first thing he did was ignore all the other plants for him to eat and started going after these berries like crazy. I stopped him when I noticed he had ate one (he must have eaten a couple before i noticed it) and i picked out all the berries i could find. I have no idea what kind of berry it is, but do you think it could possibly cause any harm? As soon as I get the cover up, the berries wont be able to get in there any more.
