I live in Massachusetts, and I too ordered from Hunter, and actually received shipment on the morning of 9/11. I was supposed to get a female, and was sent a male, and I was extremely unhappy with the packaging. He put a 6-7 inch tort in one of the flat UPS overnight boxes that was about 3 inches tall, 12 inches wide, and 14 inches long. The tort was as high as the inside of the box, so had no cushioning from being bounced aroung, and the box had Live Lizard written in pen, which was highlyeasily overlooked.
While the tort arrived OK, I personally felt that it would be better to pay a box fee, than to stress an animal that has already been through a boat load of trauma, and risk its safety too, as packages are regularly thrown around in transit.
Anyway, it might be something to mention to ensure safe shipping!
