I ordered some turtles from hunters herps and I was sort of unhappy with the turtles. All of them came with shell rot, one female with a large portion of her shell covered in shell rot. Tortoises are much less prone to shell rot but this does indicate to me the overall treatment of the animals. Also, they were packaged in socks that were tied at the top with two in each sock. They are not small turtles either(the largest around 8 inches and the smallest around 4 inches), so I imagine that they were quite cramped in that type of set up. The shell rot is the worst part though, such pretty shells*(other than the disgusting white parts)*
