The most common deworming drug prescribed for tortoises is Panacur.
It is also used for cattle/horses.
The tortoise should get one dose, followed by a second dose in two weeks.
Antibiotics are prescribed for infections, not for worms. Much as you might be precribed antibiotics for a bad ear infection, or the flu.
