Parasites - Gary

Any I can give my turtle for parasites from the pet store? Well, the situation that happen today is that after taking my pet tort to the park, he pooped out wiggling things. I assume its parasites, so i took him the the nearest vet and the lastest that was open. The vet guy gave my tort some medications for horse and cattle? What the hell is that? Is that okay? I dont think he knew what the hell he was doing, he said he was going to take the sample to the lab to figure out what it is. I think I made a mistake of taking my Gary to that vet, but its the only one that was open this evening and was willing to take my tort. I panic when i saw what was happening. Someone help me clarified some stuff, isnt he suppose to get some sort of antibiotics for several days to take? I'm pretty sure someone on here knows. Anybody here knows a good and quality vet in Fresno, California??? Please any suggestions..i need someone who knows about turtles, so I can ask questions.
