someone suggested yesterday that maybe my little tortoise has gout. Can someone please explain what it is and what are the symptoms. If he doesn't do better soon I will have to go back to the vet. Tried the yellow squash with romaine last night after his soaking and before medicine was given, he wasn't interested.. Kathy

: Hi everyone, Thanks again for all the advice last week for my baby. I am still really concerned we have been giving him his shots daily. I have soaked him twice a day and did remove the sand from his tank and put down a soft towel. He seems to have perked up a bit more but he is still not eating anything. Every morning after his soak I give him very finely chopped romaine and apple. He even sticks his neck out like he wants to take the food but doesn't touch it. The vet can not do a fecal test because if he doesn't eat he doesn't poop. The vet also told me he was to small to tube feed. Any idea's???? someone emailed me last week and did mention that they too had a sick little sulcata a while back and it was about a week after treatment that he started to eat again, maybe there's still hope
