I got a 2 month old redfoot at the 1st of June & he was 2 1/2" long & very shy. I was a couple of months before he stopped hissing at me every time I came near him. I measured him the other day & he's nearly 4" & is one of the coolest creatures I've ever known. I've decreased the amount of food I give him which means that now when he's out roaming in my living room, he nibbles at every speck he comes across. Within a few minutes of being out, he heads straight for the kitchen because he knows there's bound to be a stray piece of cat food he can munch on.

So get a hatchling & enjoy watching him grow up!
