I suspect that he had a localized reaction to his vitamin injection. If so it usually gets worse a day or two and then very slowly gets better. Rather than the warm compresses which could stress him out, I would just soak him in warm water 2-3 times daily. If the swelling is still bad on Wed, your vet may give something to help with this and make him walk better. If the leg is continually swelling, an infection may be started at that site. Make sure he has a nice warm spot to hang out in the meantime. Good Luck
