A dose large enough to last a month would be bad for the tortoise. Especially because vit. A, D, E, K are stored in the fatty tissue. It may even be fatal in that large of a dose, the kidneys in torts are not very strong. Even if this form of D3 loading were possible, the tortoise would not do well if given more than he had already received, you would need to keep him away from the sun and uv bulbs until the original dosage was gone, which would be pretty hard to estimate, because once again D vitamins are stored in the body.
